RJ Mitte debuts in the AMC series,
Breaking Bad as the son of Brian Cranston's character, Walter White. He began to pursue acting in 2006, when he moved to Hollywood and begin training with his personal talent manager, Addison Witt. Despite having a mild case of cerebral palsy, Mitte worked hard with Witt and overcame various challenges in his life, just to achieve his goal to become an actor. The Lafayette, Los Angeles newspaper, the Daily Advertiser learned of his hard work and featured him in an October 2006 article, noting that he was homegrown and ready to take on a career in Hollywood. After extensive training with Witt, he began playing minor roles on series such as Grey's Anatomy and Hannah Montana. In March 2007, Mitte was contacted for a role as a teenager dealing with cerebral palsy in the AMC series,
Breaking Bad. After three preliminary auditions, Mitte flew to Albuquerque, New Mexico to do a screen test with the director, who eventually cast him for the role.

Breaking Bad. Born with cerebral palsy, Walter and Skyler's son, Walter Jr. has some trouble with his speech and needs crutches to walk. Despite his illness, he strives to be the ordinary boy next door.
