A drunken, delightful mess of an awards show, the 2014 Golden Globes sure delivered tonight: at times uncomfortable, often drunk and definitely hilarious thanks to the impeccable hosting of Tina Fey and Amy Poehler. Here are the most talked about moments from the evening of the hot messes of Hollywood.

The Good

Tina and Amy are the Best, Ever

The only issue I had with Tina Fey and Amy Poehler’s hosting was there was not enough of them! There is something so accessible about their humor and they both looked unbelievable. They nailed it all night and started the whole event off right with their hilarious monologue, highlights of which include Julia Louis-Dreyfus at the movie star table, the Scandal reference and the constant goading of Tam Honks (Tom Hanks).

“Yeah, Bitch!” A Suitable Finale for Breaking Bad

With both Best Dramatic Actor and Best Drama wins, Breaking Bad finally gets what it deserves. After getting shut out at the Emmys, it was so satisfying to see Bryan Cranston win. Not only has he never won a Golden Globe for his role as Walter White, he was so especially deserving in this final season. I’m bummed about Aaron Paul’s loss, but thrilled about the overall Best Drama win.

Mr. Golden Globe: Randy

Everything that Tina and Amy did on the show was hilarious and perfect. No moment better encapsulated their brilliance than in the Mr. Golden Globe bit. I was really embarrassed for the Bacons when they introduced their daughter, but it quickly got hilarious and awesome. They were good sports, too. Plus, any airtime for Idris Elba is just fine by me.

Emma Thompson Wins Best Presenter Award

Everything about Emma Thompson presenting was genius. Shoes in one hand, a martini in the other, then shoes tossed over her shoulder = perfection.

Amy Poehler’s First Win

I love that Amy Poehler not only finally won for her role as the beloved Leslie Knope on the hilarious Parks and Recreation, but she also got to make out with Bono and give an impassioned, sweet speech. I adore her, and to see her win on such an otherwise successful hosting gig was just great.

The Bad

The Long Walks

The long walks to the stage. How have they not figured out by now how to set up a room for an awards show? Many of the night’s winners had to weave in and around tables or run to the back of the stage before accepting their awards. The walk was long, uncomfortable and much of the applause had died down before the winner got to the stage. Take a note from the SAG Awards — square or rectangular tables.

Parks and Rec actor Ben Schwartz summed it up best on Twitter: “My horoscope was right, this year is all about long awkward walks to the stage.”

And the Crazy

Jacqueline Bisset is Terrifying

Her acceptance speech for Best Supporting Actress in a Miniseries was so uncomfortable, strange and, honestly, hilarious. She became a trending topic on Twitter instantly. Like most everyone, she seemed many glasses of something in, and her speech is a true example of why the Golden Globes is so fun.

Summed up by fashion critics The Fug Girls, “Jacqueline Bisset might also be the open bar’s first casualty of the night.”

Brooklyn Nine-Nine Shockers

Andy Samberg and Brooklyn Nine-Nine‘s wins were shocking and confusing, especially considering the competition. But Seth Meyer’s face when he read Andy Samberg’s name almost made up for it. The cast seemed so excited and thrilled and the speech was delightful and heartfelt, so it’s cool.

Diane Keaton’s Lullaby Nightmare

In what was a generally sweet and certainly genuine acceptance speech on behalf of Woody Allen, Diane Keaton still managed to go off the rails a bit. Her rendition of the kindergarten song that goes “Make new friends, but keep the old, one is silver and the other gold” could be used during a horror movie trailer.

Overall, it was a delightful show. As summed up by Tina Fey’s closing remarks, “This was the beautiful mess we hoped it would be!”
