Tara Summers is an actress from the United Kingdom who was born in London, England. She was a history major at Brown University and a member of the class of ’01, and later on studied further at the London Academy of Music and Dramatic Art, becoming a member of the class of ’03. Summers also trained for a time at the National Theater Institute. She has acted in a number of feature films, such as What a Girl Wants, The Jacket, and Rabbit Fever. Summers has also worked on several television productions, among them Fooling Hitler, The Wedding Album, and The Great San Francisco Earthquake.

Katie Lloyd is portrayed by Tara Summers in the ABC network’s television drama series Boston Legal. She is introduced during the fourth season, and is a young associate who works in the Boston office.
