-Michaela Conlin never expected Bones to be successful, but she’s obviously glad it is because she feels it’s something new and different.
-This season, Bones introduces a serialized story arc involving a serial killer. Michaela enjoys this, and says the creative team, led by Hart Hanson, are daring to do something different, refusing to stay in a box of either a strict standalone procedural or a wholly serialized show.
-The show has had some big names behind the scenes, with one episode being directed by David Duchovny. Michaela describes the benefits of working for an actor-director because when they make a suggestion, it’s one based on personal experience.
-Michaela is pleased that her character isn’t burdened with a lot of big scientific words.
