Part Irish-American and French, Emily Deschanel enters the entertainment scene with her distinct and beautiful features. An admirable movie and television actress, she woos in viewers with her tough yet pleasing presence. Ultimately, she became part of the television drama series Bones, which escalates her exposure to stardom.



Born on October 11, 1976 in Los Angeles, California, Emily Deschanel graduated from the Professional Actors Training Program of Boston’s University with a degree in fine arts. As an actress, she got her first movie break in It Could Happen to You. Her other credits included Crossing Jordan, Law & Order: Special Victims Unit, Glory Road, The Alamo, Cold Mountain, Boogeyman, Rose Red and Spider-Man 2.

Playing Temperance Brennan on the television series Bones allows Deschanel to portray a brilliant forensic anthropologist who struggles with trust issues. Like her role on the show, she is very much passionate about her craft. Moreover, her inclusion on the program launches her as lead actress and the center of attraction on the show.
