A month has passed since the WGA strike came to an end, and more and more shows are now returning to their sets to resume production on the current season. For
Bones executive producer Hart Hanson, going back to restart the hit procedural dramedy has been an emotional experience.
"The moment I drove on the lot for the first time in three months, I got a little choked up,” Hanson told
USA Today, adding that other members of the staff and crew are excited to be back as well.

I can't believe they resumed production for only 2 more episodes!! why not complete the season and air new ...
Hanson also said that the writers discussed the strike “for three minutes” before figuring out how to approach the abbreviated third season of
Bones, which stars
Emily Deschanel and
David Boreanaz as a renowned anthropologist and FBI agent, respectively, who work together to solve cases involving human remains.
"We've adjusted our storytelling several times," Hanson said. "Booth's family story is just gone. It will go into Season 4… We don't want to give it short shrift."
Next month, Bones will resume its six new episodes, four of which were completed before the strike. Additionally, one of the episodes is the un-aired season 2 installment that was pulled off the air in the wake of the Virginia Tech shootings. Upcoming episode titles include "Baby in the Bough," "The Man in the Mud," "Wannabe in the Weeds" and "The Player Under Pressure." Spoilers for these episodes are available through previous articles on the site.
The last new episode of
Bones aired last November and was called “Santa in the Slush.” The episode featured another milestone in Booth (Boreanaz) and Brennan's (Deschanel) relationship, as the two finally locked lips after almost three seasons. The kiss, however, was less of a romantic gesture and more of a “trade” of sorts, with Brennan agreeing to kiss Booth under a mistletoe in order for her incarcerated father and brother to gain access to a private trailer for Christmas.
Bones returns with new episodes on Monday, April 14, at 8pm on FOX.
