Wednesday, February 10, 2016
The Jeffersonian is finally getting back to work this spring. FOX has announced that Bones will return for the second half of season 11 starting Thursday, April 14 at 8pm.
Returning after a four-month hiatus, Bones will pick up eight weeks after the tragic accident that left Hodgins paralyzed. As he struggles with rehab to adapt to life in a wheelchair, the team will investigate the death of a public defender.
In addition, Bones will be paired with a new reality competition American Grit, premiering Thursday, April 14 at 9pm. Hosted by WWE supserstar John Cena, the show will take 16 tough men and women, divided into four teams, and put them through a rigorous series of military-grade, wilderness challenges. The contestants will be mentored by accomplished members of the U.S. military including a Navy Seal commander as well as Army Sergeant Noah Galloway, a double amputee who competed on Dancing with the Stars.
The two shows will take over Thursday nights one week after American Idol ends its 15th and final season on April 7.
