It's an evening of season enders tonight on FOX.
Bones comes to its premature finale at 8pm, followed by the second half of
House's own two-part closer at 9pm.
In tonight's gripping
Bones season finale, the Gormogon serial killer strikes anew, at the expense of one of the Jeffersonian's very own. According to
TV Guide's Ask Ausiello, there is the certainty of death, but, for whom?

Tonight's episode called “The Pain in the Heart” begins with a human jawbone popping up at the Jeffersonian. Brennan (
Emily Deschanel) and the rest of the squints immediately figure out that the Gormogon killer is at it again. Things take a terrifying turn when the lab is rocked by an explosion that sends Zach (
Eric Millegan) to the hospital. We have more on this straight from Millegan himself, in a nearly no-holds barred interview with Michael Ausiello. More on that later.
Back to our spoilers for tonight's riveting
Bones finale, in the aftermath of the surprise lab explosion, the Jeffersonian crew discovers that the Gormogon's silver skeleton has gone missing from the basement vault. All of a sudden, their very own base camp is no longer safe as each and every Jeffersonian employee has just become a suspect.
Could there be a dark and very real threat looming within the institute? Is there a wolf in sheep's clothing among them? Could one of the Jeffersonian's personnel be allied with and taking up the cudgels for the Gormogon murderer? One thing is for sure, at least according to
TV Guide's tireless and ever resourceful scoop-meister, Michael Ausiello. There will be at least one death tonight in the third season
Bones finale.
Now, you're first guess might either be Zach, seeing as how he's been rushed to the hospital, or Booth, from having been shot last week. Well, Ausiello cornered Eric Millegan and asked him point-blank whether he was safe, dead or alive after tonight. The actor responded by saying he does NOT die, though he isn't necessarily safe, having landed in the hospital. Millegan also confessed that they do catch the Gormogon killer but when pressed to answer whether anyone is leaving the show, Millegan gave a rather shaky and devious "nooooooo."
In any case, catch tonight's installment, “The Pain in the Heart,” the gripping climax to
Bones' interrupted but still fabulous third season.
