Family can be difficult. On Bones, family can even be murderous. When a family feud leads to a murder victim, Booth and Brennan have to investigate. Even if they are having a bit of a family issue of their own...

In the first video, we find out the Brennan and Booth are having a bit of a crisis.

Apparently, not even Brennan can get away with all the trouble she was causing at the Jeffersonian daycare. What nanny could possibly meet her high criteria? It seems likely that this search will take awhile. Because she cares so much...

But don't worry. This problem is not likely to cause a permanent rift between our two crime-fighting parents. On the contrary, later events at a murder site indicate that all has very much been forgiven.

You really have to love the level to which social conventions matter little to Brennan. Even better is the fact that Booth, despite knowing all about social conventions and pretending to care, would rather be inappropriate with Brennan.

Plus, kissing! I know it's been most of a season since that became commonplace, but it's still exciting to see. It was a long six seasons to get to this point.

The problem of finding a babysitter is, temporarily anyway, solved in the next video.

It's interesting that it's Booth -- Mr. Law Enforcement himself -- who thinks that Max would make a good babysitter for his daughter. Meanwhile, Brennan, who has never cared all that much about Max's crimes is hesitant. I suppose being abandoned by your father as a child would indeed make it difficult to trust the man with a baby.

But it all works out. That's what the final video shows.

There is something very impressive about a man who manages to get a baby to nap and take a bath while making lasagna for the family. Who cares about his little murdering spree if there's lasagna? Italian food does seem to bring family together on Bones -- last week it was breadsticks, this week lasagna.

"The Family in the Feud" will air on Monday, April 30 at 8pm on FOX.
