When Bones season 7 finally returns with new episodes on Monday, April 2, there will be a lot of changes coming. It's not just the baby either. The show has a new timeslot -- and there may even be a new Bones spinoff coming! Check out videos in this article for more information.

The Baby Is Coming When?
In the first video, Bones creator and executive producer Hart Hanson gives some background to the Brennan-pregnancy plot. We get to see a few scenes from "The Prisoner in the Pipe" as well.

  • You've got to love the use of music from The Nutcracker inserted randomly into this video. Randomness at its finest!
  • Emily Deschanel gave birth two days after she was filming a TV show? That had to have been uncomfortable.
  • Hart Hanson says that the baby's birth "could happen" in the first episode back. Based on the scenes in this video, that's a very, very likely scenario.

In Case You Didn't Know Bones Had a New Time Slot...
If you hadn't yet heard, Bones is moving to Monday nights on FOX starting with the next episode, "The Prisoner in the Pipe." The remaining Bones season 7 episodes will air on Mondays at 8pm.

You might need a more entertaining reminder of this new day and time. That's what the next video is for.

What were all of the squinterns (other than Daisy) doing on the Bones set at the same time? Interesting question... What could the answer be?

Squinterns -- A Bones Spinoff
Bones is all about the spinoffs these days. Last year, we got a first look at The Finder -- now a series airing Fridays on FOX. And this season, the spinoff glory seems to be going to the squinterms.

As the Bones squinterns explain in this next video, the new show -- Squinterns -- will center around Brennan's many assistants. They will apparently be working in a new lab, and we can expect only occasional appearances from the regular Bones cast.

There is no word as to whether Carla Gallo (Daisy Wick) might appear in the new show, but the other actors playing assistants all seem to be on board. Joel Moore (Colin Fisher), Pej Vahdat (Arastoo Vaziri), Eugene Byrd (Clark Edison), Michael Grant Terry (Wendell Bray) and Luke Kleintank (Finn Abernathy) talk about Squinterns in this informative video.

Oh, and if you didn't catch it in the video (which would be tough, since they shout it), Happy April Fool's Day!

The next Bones season 7 episode, "The Prisoner in the Pipe," airs on Monday, April 2 at 8pm on FOX. Don't expect an airdate for Squinterns any time soon. Or ever.
