While fans cannot wait for the fourth season of
Bones, which debuts on September 3rd at 8pm on FOX, the actors and actresses, who recently headed to England to film the premiere episode, have been teasing up with a few hints of what’s to come in the new season. In fact, we recently reported on the dynamics of Bones and Booth’s amusing relationship, and now that they’re knee deep into the production of the upcoming season, the stars have yet again come out to give us a sneak peek of what’s to come on September 3.
The first question that comes to mind is “Why are the crew in England?”
David Boreanaz recently spoke to E! Online to answer that question, saying, “Bones is speaking to Oxford, and I'm speaking to Scotland Yard. There is an American businessman living in London, and his daughter is murdered—we pull her car out of the Thames—and it becomes a unified effort between Scotland Yard, the FBI and the forensics teams on both ends.”
Additionally,
Emily Deschanel reveals that her character was invited to England by a certain Dr. Ian Wexler, played by Andrew Buchan, who asks her to give a lecture at Oxford. She adds that Dr. Wexler is “the top forensic anthropologist in England. He's kind of like me in London. The lecture is on interstitial lamellae remodeling—one of my favorite subjects to speak about—and Booth falls asleep while I'm giving my lecture, which I don't appreciate.”
Of course, Booth won’t be turning a blind eye on this. Boreanaz says, “he's moving in on her—which is fine, but it's also going to drive me crazy, obviously.”
If that isn’t quite interesting enough for you to tune into the two-hour season premiere, then this might do the trick. Creator Hart Hanson reveals, “Angela's (
Michaela Conlin) missing husband, Birimbau, shows up during the season premiere, and merry mix-ups ensue. I hope it's not what anyone expects. I hope people will expect either that everything goes great for everybody or that Birimbau breaks up Jack (
TJ Thyne) and Angela, and I don't mind telling you that neither one of those things happen.”
For those of you who can’t wait to see the premiere, here’s some sneak peek videos to satisfy your
Bones craving.
Don’t forget to catch
