'Bones' Star Eric Millegan to Debut as Cabaret Singer
Eric Millegan is making the leap from Bones to Broadway – well, not quite, but akin to it.  The boyish-looking 33-year old actor, who gives life to the geeky Dr. Zack Addy on the FOX crime drama, Bones, is set to make his cabaret singing debut early next month.

While the New Jersey-born relative newcomer is best known to televiewers as the socially inexperienced but intellectually brilliant forensic anthropologist on Bones, not too many may be aware that he is, in fact, a musical degree holder from the University of Michigan.

Millegan, whose previous acting experience includes a decade in theater, will have his first appearance as a headliner at Sterling's Upstairs at Vitello's in Studio City, California on Sunday, December 2.  Sterling's Upstairs has been critically hailed as Los Angeles' premier supper-club.  It has gained recognition providing a regular weekly fare of only the best that Broadway and the Nightclub scene have to offer.  It celebrated its first anniversary in June of this year.

During his successful 10-year stint in theater, Variety noted that the current Bones actor had a “winning stage presence and a sweet, melodious tenor” as he essayed the role of Harold in the world premiere of Harold & Maude: The Musical.  Staged at the Paper Mill Playhouse in New Jersey, Millegan played opposite Oscar winner Estelle Parsons.

In New York, his theater work included the Broadway revival of Jesus Christ Superstar, the Encores presentation of Hair at City Center, where he sang the "Aquarius" solo, and the New York premiere of Dead Man Walking at Lincoln Center.

For his debut performance at Sterling's Upstairs, Millegan will be accompanied by Emmy Award-winning pianist, Richard Callaci.  He will also feature Jenna Gavigan, from the show Commander in Chief and the Bernadette Peters-led Broadway production of Gypsy, as his special guest that evening.

The one night engagement is slated for 8pm, with dinner seating commencing at 6:30pm.  Entrance to the event is priced at $50, inclusive of a four-course prix-fixe menu.
