We're still months (and months and months) away from the November premiere of Bones season 7, but producers are already giving hints as to what we can expect when the Jeffersonian team returns for more crime-solving. And it looks like there will be yet another arch-villain stalking Washington, DC for the season.

A report from TVGuide.com says that old foes like the Gravedigger and Jacob Broadsky are set to be replaced by a new and different kind of bad guy. Bones executive producer Stephen Nathan describes the upcoming baddie as "someone who is an extremely odd and fearless foe."

That pretty much works for all of the villains on Bones. So what makes this new evildoer different? According to Nathan, "He's going to be much more of a 21st-century, tech-savvy foe."

With that qualification, it sounds like Bones may be dealing with the anti-Gormogon in upcoming episodes. I'm also going to guess that some social-networking will be involved -- probably Twitter. After all, we are talking about a show whose creator, Hart Hanson, never seems to stop his own tweeting. (I'm not complaining. Hart Hanson has an awesome Twitter feed. Check it out!)

Much like the uber-villains who came before, this new tech-monster will make sporadic reappearances on Bones throughout season 7 and possibly into season 8. He or she will most likely appear toward the end of the show's initial run of six episodes in the fall. Stephen Nathan says: "At the end of [episode] 6, we want to leave with a real surprise for the audience from a plot point of view." That surprise will be the new bad guy, a "nefarious character, who we will follow for a little bit this season and perhaps next."

Don't worry if you're the type of Bones fan who prefers the relationship stuff to the crimes. It sounds like there will be plenty of that as well. Nathan points out that the six fall episodes will focus on Brennan, Booth and the upcoming Baby Squint. The two Bones leads will be dealing with plenty of those personal issues from the very beginning of the season, as reported earlier.
