Those of you who have completely given up on Booth and Brennan's romance after watching the 100th episode of Bones may just find a glimmer of hope in this week's episode entitled "The Death of the Queen Bee." Tonight, Brennan and Booth go undercover as a married couple when they head to Brennan's alma mater to investigate a murder case.
Burtonsville High School serves as the setting for Bones
where Booth and Brennan are called to a case after the discovery of an unidentified skull and upper torso. Thanks to Angela, we learn that the victim is one of Brennan's classmates and it's possible that her classmate's death is connected to a second murder committed 15 years ago. This prompts a reluctant Brennan to attend her high school reunion so she and Booth can question a list of suspects. Side note: Emily Deschanel even supplied the show with an actual photo of her taken during her high school years.
The case, however, is just as interesting as tonight's guest star. As mentioned previously, Robert Englund (A Nightmare on Elm Street) appears as an offbeat janitor, who apparently is Brennan's only friend in high school. Elsewhere, Hodgins dishes on a lab secret.
