The news of the World Series preempting new episodes of Bones
until November 5th hasn't really gone over well with fans. After “The He in the She” last October 8, there won't be new episodes of Bones
until November 5th with “The Skull in the Sculpture.” Fox usually does this, but unlike Bones
, Do Not Disturb
will only be off the air for one week. And to be positive about it, the new episodes are supposed to be worth the wait. For one, there are always good spoilers to look forward to, such as comedian Andy Richter guest-starring in a circus-themed episode that will air sometime in January.
For a new round of Bones
casting news, TV Guide reports that Side Order of Life
star Marisa Coughlin will guest-star in a midseason episode of the Fox series. She will play FBI agent Payton Perotta who will take over a case after Booth (David Boreanaz
) has to remove himself because of some conflicts on interest. In fact, Booth himself becomes a suspect in the case.
On the episode “Fire in the Ice” set to air on December 10, Booth and Brennan (Emily Deschanel
) investigate the murder of a volunteer fireman at an ice rink. As Booth had to take himself off the case, the FBI agent enters the picture. To complicate matters even further, Booth has feelings for Perotta.
Now for the episode airing exactly two weeks from now on November 5th, Booth suspects something is wrong when a corpse is found inside a crushed car in an art gallery of car sculptures. He senses a cover-up. Meanwhile, his assistant said she remembers the artist saying he is depressed and wants to be part of the exhibit himself. They start wondering if the corpse could be him.
Two weeks to go before Bones
returns on Fox on November 5. Catch it on 8pm.
