Bones finally returns tonight with an all-new episode entitled
"The Killer in the Crosshairs." Before that, however, we had to endure three long weeks without our favorite crime-fighting duo. To pass the time, we asked our readers and Facebook fans to come up with their fantasy episode, and not surprisingly they came up with some interesting titles and story lines that left us wanting more:
Title: "The Dream That Wasn't"

Plot: "It would be a take sort of from 'The End in the Beginning' -- Booth's coma dream. This is kind of cliche, but it would be about Booth and Bones being a real couple. I know my episode is overused in the TV world, but it would be like the whole six years would be a dream or one of Temperance's books and when Booth woke up in reality they had and always been a couple."
Title: "The Clue the Center Gets"

Plot: "[Booth and Brennan] would come together in that episode!"
Title: "The Boy in the Trash"

Plot: "It would be about a 14-year-old boy who was killed by his girlfriend's dad because he was going to turn him in for beating the dead boy's girlfriend and her 3-year-old boy, and Booth and Bones realize that they both love each other. Angela gets realy sad from this case and Hodgins talks about how anyone could ever do that to children."
Title: "The Agent with the Bones"

Plot: "The investigation would involve solving a murder about an abusive alcoholic father [insert connection to the childhood shared by the Booth boys]. Booth would come to terms about his own father and Brennan would tell Booth what his grandfather Hank shared with her. As a side note: Hodgins and Angie would name Booth and Brennen godparents to their baby, thus sparking the moment that the two partners become lovers."
Title: "The Lady in the Labyrinth"

Plot: "When an estate owner opens his labyrinth during a party, bones are found poking out of a hedge. Brennan goes back alone, thinking she might have missed a clue and gets lost. Booth finds her, hugs her and kisses her. This is the episode where they become a proper couple. The lady in the story is a neighbor of the estate owner and was killed by his wife, who thought her husband was cheating on her with the said neighbor lady. He was cheating but not with this particular person. Clark is the squint in this story."
