I don't know about you, but I just thoroughly enjoy every guest appearance from the lovely Stephen Fry on Bones.  Considering this man's incredibly impressive filmography, it is truly an honor to have him on the show, and I must say that I think it is one of his best roles yet.  And yes, I know I'm a bit biased.

But you must admit that the character of Dr. Gordon Wyatt is simply wonderful.  I mean, who else could help Booth realize his feelings for Dr. Brennan or help him understand why he shot a clown off of the top of an ice cream truck?  He is probably the person Booth trusts most after Bones, of course, and this makes him an invaluable addition to every episode he's in.

I must say, though, that "The Dwarf in the Dirt" was my favorite episode with Gordon Wyatt.  No offense to Sweets, but I thought it was so cute that Booth went to him when he felt that Sweets' first priority was to evaluate him as an FBI agent rather than advise him as a friend.  Opening up about his feelings isn't exactly very easy for Booth, but he must've trusted Gordon Gordon a lot in order to go seek him out and eventually find him at a restaurant.

And this brings me to my next point.  Gordon Wyatt is a chef?  Yes, I must say that it shocked me at first, but to each his own I guess.  Apparently the man is just multitalented to be able to cook and work at a restaurant and give advice and help solve a case for the FBI at the same time.  Ya, that takes skill.  And I'm not too deeply distraught that he's given up his psychiatry profession because he can and will still totally dish out some awesome psychoanalysis when needed.

Of course, the best thing that Gordon Gordon did in this episode was tell Booth he is meant to be with Bones.  He helped him realize and deal with these feelings (and of course shoot straight), and I personally cannot wait to see how it all plays out.  Will there be a real Booth and Bones moment in the future?  Will we see Dr. Gordon Wyatt, aka Stephen Fry, again?  I don't know, but I guess all we can do is hope!
