Warning: Possible Spoilers Below
Hello, my friends! So, if you're like me, obsessed with spoilers and the latest Bones
news that is, then you've most likely heard all the buzz surrounding the Bones hundredth episode scheduled to air on April 8
. Although this is a painfully long way away from now, we can take comfort in the fact that we are at least getting several great tidbits and hints from the entire Bones crew not only about this momentous hundredth episode, but also about events taking place during the rest of the season.
Specifically, we know that one character will be confirmed pregnant, and the identity of this character is supposed to be revealed in this Thursday's episode, "The Proof in the Pudding." Also, we know that two characters will be getting married most likely after the hundredth episode. So, in order to pass the time until the flashback to Booth and Bones' first case, the release of Sweets' book, and the changing of Booth and Bones' relationship forever, I decided I would make a list of the possible marriage and pregnancy candidates. Let me know what you think. Who do you think is going to get married or is going to be pregnant? Leave a comment below!
As we saw during Season 4 and the beginning of this season, Angela definitely struggled with her decision to become and remain celibate. She constantly scared Clark with her comments on how she found him cute and delicious, and she practically hounded Brennan for information after her date with Andrew Hacker, Booth's boss. However, we all now know that Angela has broken her celibacy vow, and she has done pretty well making up for lost time with her new boy toy Wendell, thereby making her a prime pregnancy candidate.
Daisy and her man Sweets, or as she likes to call him, Lancelot, have been going strong for quite some time now. Although they are a very quirky and somewhat awkward couple at times, these two are just meant to be together, and I know that I, personally, cannot help but laugh whenever they are both on screen. I mean, who can forget the time in "A Night at the Bones Museum" when Sweets made a "rawr" sound, something that makes Daisy crazy, and the two got down and dirty on some ancient Egyptian artifacts?
Yup, that certainly makes Daisy prime pregnancy candidate number two!
Ok, so I think we can all agree that things have definitely not been easy for Cam in regards to Michelle. But hey, think back to the time when you were her age. Yeah, that's what I thought. I do think that Cam and Michelle's relationship got even stronger and better during the Christmas episode, "The Goop on the Girl,"
but I just have to believe that the Bones
crew is not going to be giving Cam a break anytime soon...primarily because she is so good and incredibly funny in those awkward, uncomfortable, and trying situations. So, Michelle has officially become prime pregnancy candidate number three.
1. Daisy and Sweets
So, as I said before, Daisy and Sweets are meant for each other. No arguments there. I'd love to see the two finally tie the knot, and apparently, so would Carla Gallo and John Francis Daley (the real Daisy and Sweets). According to Daley, "Their relationship will definitely progress," and Gallo said, "Are you kidding me? That would be like my dream situation." So there you have it folks. At least on the Sweets and Daisy end, things are looking good. I guess it's all up to Hart Hanson now.
2. Angela and Hodgins
I know some of you might not like this pairing and may think that this ship has definitely already sailed, but I wouldn't be so sure. In response to a fan who said that she was mad at Angela for hurting Hodgins via Twitter, Hart Hanson responded, "I promise you, you will love Angela again. LOVE her." So, take this to mean what you will, but I am definitely rooting for these two to get back together in the end.
3. Booth and Brennan
Ok, so although I'd love for this to be true, I honestly have to say that I don't think it'll end up happening. I mean, don't get me wrong, I definitely want them to end up together, I'm just not sure that marriage is how it's gonna go. Since Season 1, Brennan has been adamant on how she thinks the whole idea of marriage is absurd, so I can't see her entering into it even if she were madly in love with Booth. So I guess, for right now, I'll just have to stay positive by thinking about how Emily Deschanel said the "different trajectory" that Booth and Bones' relationship will be taking in the hundredth episode does in fact "change things in a good way."
4. Jared and Padme
In the episode "The Dentist in the Ditch" that will air on January 28, it is reported that Jared Booth will return with some surprising news. Does this mean that he got married to a woman named Padme, guest star Dilshad Vasdaria, while he was in India, perhaps? I guess we'll just have to wait another week and see.
