Bones season 8 continues on Monday, April 1 with an episode called "The Maiden in the Mushrooms." Check out the synopsis and preview video below and see what happens when a murder case brings the team onto the set of a TV judge's courtroom.
Not all titles featured on BuddyTV are available through Amazon Prime.
First up, here is the synopsis of the episode from FOX:
When a body is found buried in a mound of mushrooms in the basement of an abandoned building, the trail leads to "Judge Trudy," a famous television judge. Meanwhile, Brennan refuses to accept that Christine bit another child at preschool, and Hodgins gets in hot water with Finn over some hot sauce.
From the synopsis, we see that at least some of the team is probably going to end up on camera again. Just last week, they were part of a documentary and now they'll be making their way to the set of a reality show. We also find out that Brennan won't be happy to find out that her little girl isn't the perfect child she assumed. Brennan tries so hard to ensure that Christine has every advantage to make her as brilliant as her mother, so it'll be interesting to see Brennan's reaction to finding out her daughter actually bit another child (if that really did happen). As for as the tidbit about Hodgins, Finn and hot sauce, I have no clue what to even guess about that.
In the preview video for the episode, we get to see more from the Judge Trudy show and how much most of the Smithsonian team loves it.
Here are a few more things we know from watching the clip:
- Most people may love the "freak show," but we can assume that Booth does not.
- Booth might get in trouble for talking when Judge Trudy is talking.
- Cam and Angela love Judge Trudy, but perhaps comparing it to a train wreck wasn't the best way to explain it to Brennan.
What do you think now that you've seen the synopsis and preview for this episode of Bones? Will the team find their suspect in Judge Trudy's courtroom? Could the killer possibly be (gasp!) Judge Trudy herself?
Bones airs on Monday nights at 8pm on FOX.
