Zoey Johnson is going to college in the spring of 2018. Freeform has officially ordered a spin-off of the Black-ish, titled College-ish, for early 2018.

The new series, which was previewed in the third season of ABC's Black-ish, stars Yara Shahidi, who plays the eldest daughter Zoey as she heads off to college. The new spin-off will also feature another Black-ish star, Deon Cole's Charlie, who moonlights as a professor at the college.

Black-ish Moves to Tuesdays for Season 4>>>

College-ish was originally developed as a spin-off for ABC, but the premise skewed too young, so it's being moved to the network's sister channel, Freeform.

The show will also include several new characters in the college administration and the student body, so it's possible that the other stars featured in the backdoor pilot episode of Black-ish like Chris Parnell and Trevor Jackson will not return.

College-ish was picked up for 13 episodes and will premiere in early 2018.
