Wendy Moniz was born on January 19, 1969 in Kansas City, Missouri. She is best known for her role as Dinah Marler Thorpe Jessup on the soap opera Guiding Light and primetime dramas Nash Bridges and The Guardian. She also guest starred in Battery Park. Moniz was nominated twice for Soap Opera Digest Award for her portrayals in Guiding Light. Her other television appearances include those in The Others, Law and Order, and her role on Big Shots. She also played Janine on the television production of Tuesdays with Morrie. In 2000 she was married to Guiding Light co-star Frank Frillo, and they have one child together.

Stacy Auster is played by Wendy Moniz on the television series Big Shots. Stacy is the wife of James Auster, a dysfunctional CEO who finds comfort in the country club where he gets to bond with three other executives whose lives are filled with twists and turns.
