Born Mark Anthony McDermott on October 26, 1961 in Waterbury, Connecticut, Dylan McDermott attended Fordham University and The Neigborhood Playhouse School of the Theatre. He has appeared in movies like Twister, Steel Magnolias, Where Sleeping Dogs Lie, Til There Was You, and Three to Tango. His most notable appearance is on The Practice where he played Bobby Donnell. His other guest appearances include those in
Will & Grace , Ally McBeal and The Grid. In 2007 McDermott was cast for a role on Big Shots, a new series from ABC.
