Big Shots is the latest dramedy from ABC and Warner Brothers Television. It will fill one of the network’s Thursday night timeslots this fall.
The show is about four CEOs who are ready to do anything to hold on to their position. At their country club, they talk about their businesses, share secrets, ask for advice and gossip about others. Most importantly, the four men find trustworthy companions in each other.
The pilot episode was written by Jon Harmon Feldman, who will also serve as the show’s executive producer. Charles McDougal has directorial reigns.

Michael Vartan will portray James Auster, a hard-working CEO who finds out that his wife has been unfaithful to him. Vartan’s last major television role was in the series,
Alias, where he played agent Michael Vaughn. His film credits include
Monster-in-Law, One Hour Photo, The Next Best Thing, Never Been Kissed and
It Had to Be You.
Duncan Collinsworth, a cosmetics CEO who can’t refuse sex with his lovely ex-wife, will be played by
Dylan McDermott. The 45-year-old actor is known for his portrayal of Bobby Donnell on the legal drama,
The Practice. Among his most notable film projects are
Steel Magnolias, In The Line of Fire, Miracle on 34th Street, Three to Tango, The Mistress of Spices and
The Messenger.
To play the pharmaceutical executive and cheating husband Karl Mixworthy is
Joshua Malina. Malina was a cast member on the critically-acclaimed series,
Sports Night, and when the show was cancelled after only two seasons, he moved on to the role of Will Bailey on
The West Wing.
Actor-comedian
Christopher Titus is set to play Brody Johns, the Harvard Business School graduate who spends most of his time doing things for his beloved wife. In 2000, Titus launched his self-titled sitcom in the Fox Network. The show ran for two years. His other acting credits include
Yes, Dear, Jenny, Crash Drive and
Killer Klowns from Outer Space.

Nia Long (as James’ “work wife,” Katie Graham),
Peyton List (as Duncan’s resentful teenage daughter, Cameron),
Jessica Collins (as Karl’s secret mistress, Marla),
Amy Sloan (as Karl’s wife, Wendy),
Paige Turco (as Duncan’s ex-wife, Lisbeth) and
Wendy Moniz (as James’ wife, Stacy).
The series premiere of
Big Shots will air on September at 10pm on ABC.
