'Big Shots' Shooting Schedule Disrupted by California Blaze Plus Tonight's Spoilers

The scorching trail of blazes ravaging California since the weekend has claimed many victims in various ways. Some lives have been lost and properties have gone up in smoke, with damages now estimated to possibly go as high as a billion dollars. Aside from death and destruction, the raging inferno has also disrupted many businesses including the world of entertainment, where several television shows have been forced to cease production.

Big Shots have temporarily had to pack up due to the wildfire situation.

Dylan McDermott,
Christopher Titus and Joseph Malina as four successful executives with trouble personal lives, was supposed to shoot a cycling sequence in Malibu Tuesday. The show was forced to cancel the said filming schedule due to the wildfire crisis.

In tonight's
Big Shots, James (Vartan) learns that his ex-wife's new beau has been spending quality time not just with her but with their (James and his ex) children as well. James feels threatened by this and by the new man in his children's lives. Elsewhere, Duncan's (McDermott) already strange relationship with his former wife, Lisbeth (
Paige Turco) suffers a new blow as their weekend plans are disrupted by blackmail. Finally, Karl (Malina) and Wendy (
Amy Sloan) get some very practical advice from their therapist when he orders them to have sex.
Tonight's guests include Sean Collier as Dashiel, Nicolette Collier as Samantha, Francesca P. Roberts as Dr. Seaver-Filner, Larry Poindexter as Nick Dawkins and Ryan Devlin as Zack Wells. The episode “Greatest Amerimart Hero” was written by Daniel Truly & Rob Thomas and directed by David Solomon.
Big Shots airs at 10 tonight on ABC.
