It's another celebrity romance gone awry.
Ginnifer Goodwin, the star of HBO's
Big Love has reportedly separated from her boyfriend for two years, Chris Klein. It appears as though the actress is merely opting for the single life.
A good friend of the starlet talked to
People Magazine, revealing how things ended for Klein and Goodwin. “They realized they wanted different things,” the insider disclosed. “In the long run, the relationship wasn't going to work.”
It's probably just a case of the conflicting schedules, meaning less and less time spent with one another. Goodwin has an extremely busy winter ahead of her, as she returns to HBO for a fresh season of
Big Love this January. She's also been slated to star in the film
He's Just Not That Into You, which will be opening the following month.
Meanwhile, her former flame Klein is also knee-deep in the workload. He's been chosen for a role in the big screen adaptation of the popular video game,
Street Fighter: The Legend of Chun-Li. The film will be released in February, just like Goodwin's new film. The actor hasn't done any noteworthy films since the
American Pie franchise, so it would do him well to keep developing his career.
Chris Klein and Ginnifer Goodwin began dating soon after his breakup with actress Katie Holmes. Klein had nothing but good words to say about Katie, and it's likely he'll be a good sport about Ginnifer as well.
With the HBO drama lying low for now, there hasn't been a lot of buzz about what's coming next season. Other than tiny hints and obscure spoilers, the network has been keeping quiet about
Big Love. But fans won't have to wait for long, since there's less than a month left before its return.
It's certain that Ginnifer Goodwin is wrapped up in the show these days. And as the insider says, “She's not interested in dating anyone just yet.” That's probably because she's involved in a polygamous relationship on television, and with
Bill Paxton's character too.
