Five months after HBO confirmed that its favorite polygamy drama will return for a fourth season, Big Love announced that it was on a lookout for two addition to their cast.

The first one is Christie, Barb's (Jeanne Tripplehorn) pre-teen niece and Cindy's (Judith Hoag) daughter who was described as "a real hellion." They're also looking for an actor to play Dale, an empathetic closeted gay Mormon, who will be a partner in a big 8 accounting firm and might be a new Trustee of the Juniper Creek Assets. Dale is also envisioned to be a new love interest for Alby (Matt Ross), Juniper compound leader Roman Grant's son and a closeted homosexual himself.

Entertainment Weekly reports that both roles will be recurring.

"We couldn't be happier," Big Love co-creator Will Scheffer told E! Online in reference to the season 4 renewal. "We love making this show and we love our collaboration with HBO. They've truly been maligned in the press this year. If you show me a better network to work with I'll eat our DVD collections."

Scheffer added that they apologize for the long wait prior to the third season of Big Love. "We ... swear we won't make them wait as long next year.  Mark [Olsen] and I insist on making a better show each year, so we won't ever stint on quality, but we're trying to be better faster."
