This
Big Love season hasn't been as hot as the past ones as far as the critics are concerned, but it's still crazier and more convoluted than your typical Sunday fare. That being said, the HBO series wraps up its very brief nine-episode run with "End of Days." What are the things to watch out for?
Don't forget to catch: 'Big Love' Fan Columnist: Top Moments of 'Next Ticket Out' First, the state senate election draws near, and Bill is trying to put the squeeze on Congressman Clark Paley to protect his candidacy. But then Marilyn is still in his midst, scary that she always has been, and it seems that she has an ace up her sleeve that can once and for all bring Bill's campaign to ruin.
Elsewhere on the
Big Love season 4 closer, Jerry and Tom's tribal leadership is put in danger by the illegal actions of family members over at the casino. Meanwhile, Margene (Ginnifer Goodwin) is trying to weigh her options and desires - between staying loyal to Bill and what exactly does she do with Ana and Goran. Bill, for one, realized that Marilyn can expose the supposed affair, so he opted to go ahead with the sham marriage.
And then there was the tetherball game, which had some Big Love fans pulling their hair in disbelief and going, what the hell? It was all in Barb's face, but maybe she had other concerns.
Nicki (Chloe Sevigny) with the new look, meanwhile, gets news from Dr. Roquet Walker, J.J.'s son, that seems too good to be true. For sure, it has something to do with her attempts to dress like a strumpet that is supposed to reflect her desire for Bill and/or her realization that - gasp! - she loves her husband.
Finally, a polygamist scandal in Kansas breaks out and becomes national news, which has Bill and his three wives rethinking their bold post-election plans.
Happy that this season of
Big Love is finally coming to a close? "End of Days" airs tonight on HBO.
