Alison Irwin Biography:
Alison Irwin was born on August 7, 1980 in Meadville, Pennsylvania. She earned her degree in exercise psychology from the University of Pittsburgh. She is the former Miss Crawford County and was a contestant in the Miss Pennsylvania and the Miss Steel Valley pageants. She is also a big fan of the television series

American Idol , Golden Girls and E!, and the big screen hits Shrek, The Wizard of Oz, Saw II, Home Alone and The Exorcism of Emily Rose. In her free time, Alison enjoys going dancing, playing games on her phone, ice skating, working out, running and shopping. Her favorite sports team is the Pittsburgh Panthers and she enjoys listening to the music of Ne-Yo, Bon Jovi, Mariah Carey, Shania Twain, and Gwen Stefani. To satisfy her sweet tooth, Alison snacks on chocolate chip cookies and Hershey's candy bars. Aside from appearing in two Big Brother seasons, Alison also competed in
The Amazing Race 5, where she was teamed with her boyfriend Donny Patrick.
Alison made her television debut in the fourth season of the reality series, Big Brother. She was twenty-two at the time, working in retail sales and had to forego her participation in the 2003 Miss Pennsylvania pageant in order to join the show. Among the 13 contestants was Alison's former boyfriend, Justin Giovinco. She believed that she could win the competition through complete honesty (which she ended up not doing during the actual competition) and was confident about her ability to adapt to new environments and people. Ultimately, Alison placed second, losing to Jun Song.
She returned for the seventh season of the show, Big Brother: All-Stars, but was the first to be voted off the competition. She and
Danielle Reyes were both nominated, but in the end, the other contestants decided to eliminate Alison, not only because she posed a serious threat, but also because she had been conniving during her previous participation in the show.
