It was a busy day on Saturday in the Big Brother 16 house. Besides a brief medical emergency for one HG, there was also the usual Power of Veto competition. Without the Battle of the Block competition, this is the only opportunity for the nominees to save themselves.

SPOILER WARNING: This article contains Big Brother 16 spoilers.

Not all titles featured on BuddyTV are available through Amazon Prime.

Cody is the HoH. He nominated Donny and Nicole. Christine, Derrick and Frankie were picked to play.

Cody won the Power of Veto!

Yawn. It's inevitable that the PoV won't be used for only the second time this season. It was the Stay/Fold competition, and afterwards the Bomb Squad gathered in the bedroom to celebrate and confirm that Cody won't be using it. Like last week with Frankie, now Cody has all of the power. He also won a prize to watch the premiere of the new CBS drama Scorpion and chose to watch it with Donny and Nicole. So at least he's giving them something after putting them both on the block and making them Have-Nots.

Donny and Nicole will stay on the block and Donny will probably be evicted on Thursday. Donny is the biggest target, especially for Derrick, because he's the only person in the house smart enough to see Derrick for the huge threat he is.

The only real hope is that Donny has mentioned that this week's Team America mission is to come up with their own mission and he has suggested keeping Team America safe this week. It's unclear if this is for real or just a lie he made up to convince them to save him. Frankie seems more willing to do it, but Derrick doesn't want to.

But now there are five whole days of live feeds with nothing to do. The powerhouse alliance has already made up its mind (yes, they only have one mind and it's Derrick's). Instead of watching the live feeds, why not devote your lives to something more productive, like the "Every Simpsons Ever" marathon on FXX. That's 24/7 entertainment that won't leave you depressed.

FUN FACTS

-This is the third time this season that someone has won HoH and PoV in the same week, the others being Devin and Frankie. This is the third season in a row where that has happened at least three times.

-Caleb, Derrick and Nicole are the only remaining HGs who have not won the PoV.

-The five remaining members of the Bomb Squad have won exactly half of all HoH and PoV competitions, 14 out of 28. They have also been permanent HoH eight out of 10 times. The three evicted members of the Bomb Squad won another five competitions.

-Christine, Derrick and Donny have played in the most PoV competitions, seven out of 10. Victoria and Zach both played six times. Frankie has played in the least, only three.

-Christine has the best luck when it comes to getting picked to play for the Power of Veto. She has been picked six times and has been eligible nine times.

-Frankie was finally picked to play for the Power of Veto for the first time this season. He has been eligible eight times to get picked, but never was before this week.

-Victoria and Zach were both picked four times to play in the PoV. Derrick, Caleb and Donny have all been picked three times. Nicole has been picked twice while Cody and Frankie have only been picked once.

-Joey, Brittany and Jocasta are the only HGs this season who were eligible to be picked for the Power of Veto, but were never chosen to play.
