There's a surprising amount of chaos in the Big Brother 16 house this week following Frankie and Zach winning HoH. Instead of another boring week with the Detonators in charge, there are explosions, implosions and alliances turning on each other.

SPOILER WARNING: This article contains Big Brother 16 spoilers.

HoH Frankie nominated Jocasta and Victoria. HoH Zach nominated Christine and Nicole.

Christine and Nicole won the Battle of the Block!

For the first time this season, Frankie has stayed HoH. Zach is dethroned while Jocasta and Victoria are the nominees. And since Christine won, it means everyone in the house has won at least one competition. It also means Frankie will finally play in his first PoV competition this week, as will Jocasta if she doesn't get sick again. Winning the BotB also means Nicole is now up to three competition wins, tied for the lead with Frankie, Donny and Amber.

Now comes the tricky part.

Christine has been leading the charge for Frankie to backdoor Zach, with Nicole and Amber hopping on board. Frankie has been feeling out that option, laying the groundwork to people like Cody and Derrick in case he has to do it. In other words, Zankie could be dead. Or not. Frankie is impossible to read on the live feeds. One minute he hugs and kisses Zach, saying how much he loves him, then he's throwing Zach under the bus to Christine.

This all came about because Zach started blowing up Christine's game and calling her a floater on par with Jenn City from season 14. He complained that she has done nothing for the Detonators (true), that she's the one who said Amber was coming after him (true) and that Nicole shouldn't completely trust Christine (true). Basically, she's angry that Zach isn't letting her play the "fly under the radar" style game that Andy Herren used to win last season.

The next few days will be revealing. Zach still hopes the plan is for Frankie to backdoor Amber or Caleb, and I think Hayden, Cody, Derrick and Donny might be on board with that too. Christine, Nicole and Amber hope the plan is to backdoor Zach. Frankie is exactly where he doesn't want to be, in the middle. I'm sure he hopes the two sides will come together and agree on one unified goal, but if not, he will have to pick a side and possibly make some enemies.

Can he convince Derrick and Cody to turn on Zach? Can Zach mend fences with Christine and reunite the Detonators? Neither of those seems particularly likely, though the second option is probably easier. Zach seems open to burying the hatchet and calling his insanity a distraction, but I'm not sure Christine will be willing to accept that.

There are definitely several options for this week. The nominations could stay the same or Frankie could backdoor Caleb, Amber or Zach. It all depends on the Power of Veto and how things work out in the next two days. Another factor might be the Team America mission. They tried to get Zach and Christine to fight at the nomination ceremony and it's unclear if they succeeded. If not, they may try to get them to fight again at the PoV ceremony.
