The second week of Big Brother 16 has been chaotic, but now it's time to look forward to week 3. On Wednesday night, the HGs got a sneak preview of what will almost certainly be Thursday's HoH competition.

SPOILER WARNING: This article contains Big Brother 16 spoilers.

On Wednesday evening, the backyard opened up and HGs were given one hour to practice a new game for what they all assume will be the week 3 HoH competition. It's a croquet game where they must hit a ball down a field of obstacles to land in a net.

It's similar to past miniature golf-style competitions on the show. These are typically 20 percent skill, 80 percent luck, so anyone could win. However, it's worth noting that Jordan Lloyd won similar competitions in both seasons she played

Even watching the practice, it's impossible to figure out who might be good at this. Nicole, Jocasta, Amber and Hayden seemed pretty decent while Derrick, Christine and Victoria seemed to be the worst. Zach does a lot of golfing, which could definitely come in handy. A lot of the guys were hit-or-miss, and Caleb did the least amount of practice.

For some reason, I feel like this competition always seems to benefit the middle-of-the-road HGs. Overconfidence is never good, so I predict guys like Caleb and Cody will do the worst. As for who could win, if I had to put money on it, I'd say Nicole has the best shot at being one of the two HoHs.

The mood Wednesday night was much calmer than expected, probably because the writing is the wall. Zach is almost certainly going to stay over Paola, but things are a little awkward because nearly everyone in the house knows about the Bomb Squad now, making the non-members wary of talking openly with the members. The division is most notable with Brittany, who is acting weird and uncomfortable now that she has the information.

Thursday's episode of Big Brother 16 promises to be action-packed, with the explosive Power of Veto ceremony aftermath, a whole lot of scheming and dealing, followed by the live eviction and this HoH competition.
