CBS is planning a huge night of reality TV on Wednesday, September 15. The night will begin with the one-hour premiere of the 21st season of Survivor, set in Nicaragua. That will be followed by the two-hour finale of Big Brother 12 where the winner will be decided.

Survivor: Nicaragua has already raised some excitement with the news that former Dallas Cowboys coach Jimmy Johnson will be a castaway.

As for Big Brother 12, having the finale on a Wednesday means we'll have at least one double eviction coming. Assuming evictions continue to be Thursday, I'm guessing we'll have one double eviction and, on Thursday, September 9, the house will be down to the final three.

That show will probably end with part 1 of the final HoH challenge, with part 2 airing on the following Sunday. Then the two-hour finale will most likely feature the final part of the HoH competition, the final eviction, the jury questions and the voting.

However they do it, reality fans need to mark their calendars and get ready for three hours of action with this premiere, finale combo.
