Today, Head of Household Dan nominated two houseguests for eviction in the Big Brother 10
house in what is surely the most useless nomination ceremony ever. I'm not saying this week isn't important, but when you're down to the final four, it's really the Power of Veto that is important. Whoever wins that will have the power to decide who will really be nominated and who will go home.
So regardless of which two out of three Dan put on the block, all three will be gunning for PoV, as it's the only guarantee, unless Dan wins it, at which point he can change his nominees if he so chooses.
SPOILER WARNING: BIG BROTHER 10 NOMINATIONS REVEALED
Not all titles featured on BuddyTV are available through Amazon Prime.
For this irrelevant task, Dan chose to nominate Jerry and Memphis
. Hilariously, this marks the second time Dan has nominated his Renegade alliance partner Memphis.
But as I said, these nominations don't matter. If Memphis, Keesha
or Jerry win the PoV, they will obviously save themselves, nominate the other two, and get the power to choose who gets evicted. If Dan wins PoV, he can take Memphis off the block as Memphis just did for him, allowing the Renegades safe passage into the final two.
I suspect Dan is smart enough to realize this, so maybe he made them draw straws, or play Rock, Paper, Scissors, or maybe he just wanted to placate Keesha and try to ensure that alliance.
If that's the case and Dan is still true to the Renegades, they have a great shot at victory. The last four PoV competitions have gone like this: Dan, Memphis, Dan, Memphis. Dan has also won two of the last four HoH competitions, meaning the Renegades have taken six of the last eight competitions held in the house. That is sheer dominance.
The question then becomes, who will get evicted on Tuesday. There are benefits and drawbacks to keeping anyone, but it will be interesting to see if this week's eviction is based on eliminating their biggest competition for the final HoH, or eliminating the biggest competition in the finale.
Dan will nominate Jerry and Memphis on Sunday's Big Brother
episode, and on Tuesday we'll see the live PoV competition, ceremony and eviction.
