Big Brother 10
has been noted as a "back to basics" season by both CBS and the production team. As part of its basic format, live audiences returned for the live evictions shows and the show featured houseguests who are complete strangers, which understandably explains why this season kicked off with quite a dull start, compared to last season where you could immediately feel the sexual tension and the general hysteria building up as housemates who had previous or existing relationships enter the house. Luckily, there's such a thing as live feeds, which give fans a more intriguing peek at the world of Big Brother
I've put together some of this week's live feeds' best bits, which made me cringe or cry with laughter. Hopefully, this will give you a clue on what kind of paranoia is in store for the weeks ahead.
While strategy talks, catfights, and alliances make good TV, all of these things are quite normal in the world of Big Brother
. What's interesting, though, are the conversations that sprout out of boredom, which almost always lead to more drama.
For the first week of the live feeds, there were several interesting segments and odd conversation pieces that got stuck in my mind, from talks about the houseguests' memorable head lice experiences to Jerry
's one-liners such as, “Does anyone want to come up to my room for sex?”
However, there was one thing that really got etched in my mind and it happens to involve poop. What started out as a Keesha
's constipation problem turned out to be the first major drama in the house. Keesha, who apparently had some kind of surgery before and used to take medication for it since she's always constipated, was antagonizing over the fact that she can't go. Of course, it didn't help that she was on slop. In Keesha's words, "I haven't wenten to the bathroom since I've been here."
Desperate and miserable, Keesha mentions her “issue” to Jerry and all of a sudden some drama unfolds. April
that Keesha and Jerry are talking about something private that Keesha doesn't want to share in front of everyone. Apparently, they think it's game talk but it's only poop talk. April suddenly goes off at Keesha and her paranoia leads to a major catfight, complete with cursing, yelling and some water being thrown at someone's face.
This is kind of an odd thing to share to the world. But I'm sure there will be wackier and weirder segments to come.
