Beverly Hills 90210, Kathleen Robertson became a household name. Although she penetrated the show through the middle season, she was notorious for playing a rich, wild yet highly intellectual senior in high school. Interestingly, she was able to tame her unruliness and turned into a beautiful, confident and mature woman towards the end. She aggressively pursued Brandon and was romantically involved with David but was distinctly famous for being the first girl to nail Steve’s feet to the ground. At present she remains to be seen on her regular television show and upcoming movie.
Returning for a second season this August is the television show
The Business, in which Kathleen Robertson is featured as a series regular. She stars as producer Julia Sullivan in a plot that follows an adult film director as he attempts his success in the entertainment industry as a legitimate filmmaker.
In December, Robertson will be starring in the science fiction miniseries
Tin Man, which is a twisted take on
The Wizard of Oz. She’ll be playing the role of Azkadellia, a wicked sorceress. It follows a young woman thrust into The Outer Zone, a fantasy realm surrounded by dark forces. In the quest for her true identity, she embarks on a dangerous journey and is joined by several other characters. Fate leads her to evil winged monkeys and, ultimately, a face-off with an evil sorceress. The cast also includes Rachel Pattee, Zooey Deschanel and Neal McDonough.
Aside from
Beverly Hills 90210, Robertson was also noted for her work in mostly romantic sexy comedy films. Following the teen drama, she starred in
Dog Park, Speaking of Sex, and in
Splendor as the lead character Veronica.
Furthermore, her projects weren’t all about light comedies and love stories. She was cast as Evelyn Dick in the tele-film
Torso: The Evelyn Dick Story, and consequently earned a Gemini Award nomination for playing the central character.
