American actress Victoria “Tori” Spelling was born on May 16, 1973 in Los Angeles, California. The daughter of producer Aaron Spelling, her parents were Jewish, though they celebrated both Hanukkah and Christmas as she grew up. After graduating from Harvard-Westlake School, she worked on a number of films and television series, starting out with guest roles in the shows her father produced. Her TV credits include appearances in

Beverly Hills 90210. Initially an awkward and shy teen, she gets into a relationship with David Silver. Though he tries to pressure her into sex, Donna says that she wants to wait until she gets married, which David agrees to respect. However, David also cheats on her at point, though he apologizes for this. When Donna tells David later on that she still wants to wait, they break up and he becomes addicted to drugs, among them crystal meth. After a long history of breaking up, being involved with others and then getting back together repeatedly, David and Donna eventually marry.
