An Astrophysics graduate from Princeton University, Joshua is an undergraduate at University of Arizona where he is studying mathematics and physics. Upon completion of his paper on Type 2 Quasars, he will be receiving his master’s degree. While not studying, the Phoenix, Arizona native enjoys chess, karaoke and mini-golf. He also aspires to have a career path that is productive and enjoyable in five years. Joshua is featured on season 4 of Beauty and the Geek.

Joshua is paired with bartender Shay.  During the first week of the competition, Shay and Joshua were paired together because they each scored the lowest on their preliminary skills tests.  From there, Shay went on to win the third grade teaching challenge.  Shay and Joshua were the seventh couple to eliminated when they were bested by William and Jennifer.
