Josh Herman appeared as a member of the cast and a contestant during the second season of the CW reality television series Beauty and the Geek. He has been described as a museum critic, and was paired up together with Cher Tenbush. The two of them emerged the winners during the finale of the second season. Herman is 29 years old and hails from Los Angeles, California, and works as a writer. He stands at 5’ 4” tall, and his Zodiac sign is Taurus. Herman initially went to college at the University of Michigan in Ann Arbor, MI, where he majored in Film and Video Studies along with Psychology. He eventually graduated back in 2000 with a Bachelor’s Degree.
After his initial college course, Herman went on to continue higher learning at the American Film Institute Conservatory, where he pursued a Master’s Degree in Screenwriting. He completed the course by the year 2003. Among his preferred books to read are A Confederacy of Dunces, The Interpretation of Dreams, and Where The Wild Things Are. He is also a fan of musical performers such as Philip Glass, Sarah McLachlan, Shonen Knife, and Tears for Fears. Herman’s favorite films include Moulin Rouge, Amelie, and Fight Club.
