Ankur Mehta appeared as a member of the cast and a contestant during the second season of the CW reality television series Beauty and the Geek. He is a graduate of M.I.T., and was paired up together with Jennipher Johnson. The two of them were eliminated from the competition during its seventh week. Mehta comes from a background of Indian heritage, and works as an engineer. Among his interests are maintaining what he argues to be maximum computing efficiency, which involves the use of the Firefox web browser, Linux operating systems, and text-based programs. He also hates using the mouse for a computer.
