My favorite reality show is beginning again!
Beauty and the Geek returns for a fifth season on Tuesday, March 11 at 8pm. There was a shocking twist last season, when we found out that the traditional teams consisting of the usual male geek/female beauty combo competed against one flip-flopped team of female geek/male beauty. There will be a new twist this season as well: instead of competing not as beauty/geek pairs but it will be beauties versus geeks. This should be good!

Based on a very superficial review of the beauties' and geeks' photos, I have to say that my early favorites are Jim and Tiffany. My favorite decade by far is the '70s and, even though Jim must have been born in 1987 or thereabouts, it looks like his soul and his fashion sense are very nearly identical to those of my favorite college math professor who is still stuck in 1974. As for Tiffany, I'm interested in seeing what her chosen moniker of "one tough mama" means, and I think she is absolutely adorable.
