Recap: After beating out Erin Gipson and Andrew Sawa in last week's Beauty and the Geek elimination last week, Jennylee Berns and Niels Hoven return to the group of Beauties and Geeks.  Everyone is glad to see them, especially Nate Dern, who realizes how sad he would have been if Jennylee had left that night.  Later on, Nate and Jennylee canoodle. Nate haltingly expresses his disbelief that someone like her would have a crush on someone like him.  She rests her head on his shoulder and makes it pretty clear he should believe it. The next day, host Mike Richards tells them their teams will each have a new addition: a dog.  Each team will get a pup who will play a key role in the next Beauty and the Geek set of challenges. For the Geeks, the challenge will be to use the "chick magnet" dog at the park to pick up ladies, get phone numbers, creep out total strangers and risk being pepper-sprayed.  Okay, only the first two are actually part of the challenge, but come on now.  In the interest of full disclosure, this recapper must admit to an utter love of geeks, nerds, etc.  I'm a sucker for the smarties, but I still don't want one randomly and aggressively pestering me for my phone number while I'm out for a stroll.  The Geeks all seem about as eager to complete this task as I am to watch it. The challenge for the Beauties is infinitely less humiliation-prone, but difficult nonetheless: they will have to construct and decorate a doghouse for their new pets. The teams pick their dogs, and head back to their rooms to prepare.  Megan Hauserman sprays perfume on her dog, which irritates Alan "Scooter."  Nate's partner, Cecille Gahr stacks some sparkly bracelets around the neck of their Chihuahua and then realizes she didn't really think through how to get them off again.  Nate gently tells her he doesn't think it's a good idea and snips the bracelets off.  Jennylee tries to help out Niels with some good icebreaker lines, but he seems determined to go about his own way, which, frankly, seems a little off-putting. They all head out to the park, where the Geeks are let loose with their dogs.  The Beauties settle in to watch their efforts on portable televisions.  And yes, it's painful.  Niels is totally awkward, Scooter tries his luck with the fifty and over crowd, and Nate seems stalled.  Mario Muscar decides that taking a relatively direct approach might be the best move.  He greets some women, tells them he is new to town and is working on his self-esteem.  He asks for their numbers, tells them it's to help build his communication skills.  It works, and his straightforward, not-creepy vibe nets him some numbers.  Nate sees the success Mario is having and decides to try with some of the same ladies Mario just spoke with.  This is a wise, if sly, move, as the women, defenses already lowered, are easier marks.  He begins collecting as well, and when time is called, it turns out he actually surpassed Mario to win the challenge.  This guarantees him and Cecille a spot in the final three. Next, after a crash course in carpentry from the Geeks, the Beauties are put to the test.  They head to a workroom, which Cecille declares it's "100 million degrees."  Maybe, dear, you're actually that hot because you are wearing Ugg boots in California in like the middle of…well, who knows what season, but it's California.  Weird freeze this winter excluded, you don't need Uggs.  Or else maybe you're hot because you're burning with shame from wearing footwear so over that making jokes about how they're over is over.  They are each provided with pre-cut wood pieces and told to get to work.  They will be judged on their construction and design at the end by some kind of doghouse expert.  They all struggle at first, but Jennylee and Megan seem to pull it together.  Cecille abandons any effort to make a structurally-sound domicile, instead sticking the whole thing together with double-stick tape.  She hopes the "classy not trashy" look she's designed will win the judge over.  (Nate sees it a little differently, calling the style "doggy bordello.")  Nadia Underwood struggles, but eventually manages to get something cobbled together.  At the judging, the doghouse expert declares Megan the winner.  Cecille and Nate are safe due to his win.  This leaves Mario and Nadia to head to elimination to compete against Jennylee and Neils. Jennylee and Nate spend a little more alone time together.  The possibility of Jennylee being eliminated brings Nate to gather his courage up to kiss her.  I know I'm supposed to be all sardonic here, but I will admit I found the whole thing quite sweet. At elimination, the Beauties show their brains.  The women each get their two carpentry-related questions correct, leaving the score tied.  After the first three dating-related questions for the Geeks, the score is Neils at two and Mario at one.  Mario has to get the last question correct, but he is stumped and doesn't.  He and Nadia are heading home, but not without first sharing their thoughts on how the experience has changed them and their perceptions of other people.
