A thing to remember about Beauty and the Geek: Most of these guys aren't THAT geeky. If they can actually talk coherently in front of a camera and speak to these ridiculously good looking women without spontaneously combusting, then they're fine. Of course, they are all geeks to some degree, more so than the common person. The "Geek" who was voted out last night was one of the bigger nerds on the show; his big "geeky" claim to fame was that he'd only kissed one girl. Which, not to be cruel, is one more than I would've guessed. The juxtaposed challenges in the episode saw the "Beauties" forced to learn about aeronautics as the "Geeks" learn to appreciate women. The girls have to end up giving a tour of an aeronautics museum, while the guys have to sketch a nude model. They actually trick the guys, the nudity and drawing being a red herring. What they are actually tested on is what the model talked about while being drawn.
This, supposedly, is an example of appreciating women. It also proves a valuable life lesson: listen very carefully to the ramblings of nude models, because you never know what unique brand of wisdom they will bring. Long story short, Piao and Sheree are eliminated. Piao exclaimed, during the sketch, that she was the first naked woman he'd ever seen in person, which is probably all he could've asked for before coming on Beauty and the Geek. I didn't get a whole lot out of Sheree, but she seemed decent and relatively intelligent. Beauty and the Geek airs every Wednesday at 8PM ET/PT. -Oscar Dahl, BuddyTV Senior Writer
