Previously on
Beauty and the Geek,
Tara chose
Joe over
Jonathan, so the mama's boy was sent home. In the mansion, the new teammates became roommates.
Cara won the science fair challenge, and
Tommy won the radio challenge. In the elimination room,
Jim and
Tiffany lost in a sudden-death matchup and were sent home.
Tonight's
Beauty and the Geek begins with
Leticia and
Matt coming back, having survived the elimination. The rest of the girls are a bit bummed that it's Leticia back and not Tiffany. Leticia senses the distance between her and the other beauties, so she tells everyone that she'll try to be friendlier with the other girls.
The next day in the library,
Mike Richards announces excitedly that today is Geek Makeover Day. Yay! This is always the best episode of the season. I'm just sad that we won't be able to see what Jim would have looked like after being made over. The teams go upstairs to discuss fashion. Tara is anxious to get rid of the cowboy stuff from Joe's wardrobe. She also wants him to start bathing daily. Joe gets really upset to hear all of her criticism.
Randi wants
Greg to wear the right size pants because right now, she can see his wang. Seriously, she says, his pants are nut-huggers. Randi is hilarious.
The boys spend the day picking out a new wardrobe and then are taken to a salon for their new hairdos. Joe has to start with a waxing, which he finds mortifying.
After their transformations, the girls gather together in the library to watch the fashion show. In a show of support, the girls are all dressed like their geeks, pre-makeover.
The first geek to be presented is Greggie. He looks like some sort of Asian gansta or something, and delivers a convincing, "Shut up, bitch," as coached by Randi. He feels "H-A-W-T." Heh, he has lines shaved into the side of his head.
As expected, Tommy looks exactly the same, except with a touch more douchebaggery.
Matt looks like a rock star. He still has his Coke-bottle glasses, though, so it's not a complete transformation.
Chris looks slightly less dorky. He doesn't have glasses anymore, and his hair is super spiky.
Jason looks awesome. So far, I think he looks the best. He has on a brown suit and a short spikey hairdo. He looks really smooth.
Joe probably had the biggest transformation. He lost every vestige of the cowboy, but he is totally not happy with his new look. He feels like a sellout because he feels like he lost his identity.
After the big reveal, everyone has a great time pretending to walk the runway, except for Joe, who sits around glumly. Tara tries to listen and be supportive, but they aren't seeing eye to eye.
The next day, they find out what their challenge is this week. Mike Richards shows them a clip from the movie, Prom Night, and explains that they'll have to write and perform their own prom-themed love scene. The winning team will not only have the power to pick both teams going into elimination, but they'll also get to walk the red carpet because they'll be attending the world premiere of the movie
Prom Night.
The teams head to the set of the soap opera
The Young and the Restless, where
Y&R stars
Joshua Morrow and
Michelle Stafford will be providing some coaching for the teams and judging the challenge. Michelle advises the guys not to use any tongue when they kiss. No tongue!
The first team to go are
Kristina and Jason. The segment begins with cute soap opera-like opening credits. The funniest part about these skits is how Joshua Morrow is cracking up just off-stage. Kristina and Jason improv their way through their bit, and Kristina can't help but giggle all the way through it.
Randi and Greg's skit is awesome. Randi plays the super-aggressive tigress, throwing Greg down on the bed. The skit ends with Greg coming out to her, and then Randi threatening to reveal his secret to everyone at school on Monday.
Chris and Cara manage to put in every soap cliche that ever existed, including being abducted by pirates. Joshua cracks up again at that and whispers to Michelle that he totally wants to put the pirate bit on
Y&R.
Leticia and Matt have a touching scene that even involves a big kiss at the end. Yay! Their scene was so good! It was so good that Joshua and Michelle pronounce them the winners of the challenge.
At the staircase ceremony, Mike Richards announces that Leticia and Matt won't have to pick two teams to send to elimination after all because there will be no elimination today. Instead, they'll get to pick one other team to take out for a night on the town. Leticia immediately picks Randi and Greggie because Randi has been dying to get out of the house. The catch is that the remaining four couples will have to decide among themselves which team will be heading to the elimination room next week.
The four teams decide to hold a cross-dressing fashion show to decide which one of them will be put up. Chris wears a dress and a tiara and looks kind of like a fetus. Jason has bright red rouge on his cheeks. Tommy tries to channel his girlfriend
Amber as he walks down the stairs. Joe acts like a drunk, washed-up former diva with his belly hanging out over his shorts. All the girls, except for Tara, think that Joe did the worst, conveniently enough because he was the one they were all gunning to get rid of in the first place.
That's it for tonight's
Beauty and the Geek. Next week, it looks like tempers will flare.
