executive producer Ronald D. Moore recently confirmed that the final episodes of season 4 won't air on the Sci Fi Channel until 2009. This news is especially frustrating since the BSG
crew is currently wrapping production on the series. Though the episodes still have plenty of post-production to go through, they'll basically be sitting in the can for months before we see them. This is one reason why I'm especially excited to see tomorrow night's mid-season finale, entitled "Revelations." The title alone promises huge developments, and I have a feeling the Battlestar Galactica
writers will pull out all the stops to ensure the fans have a lot to talk about until next year.
To prepare viewers for the big mid-season send-off, we have some promo photos and an exciting clip from the episode.
Not all titles featured on BuddyTV are available through Amazon Prime.
The first photo shows Starbuck (Katee Sackhoff
) sitting in her Viper. One of the biggest mysteries remaining this season is what happened to Kara after her ship exploded in season 3, but is that an answer we'll get this week? I'm thinking the writers will tease that one out until next year, but I could be wrong.
The next snapshot is a fairly terrible photo of Jamie Bamber
, but I do find it interesting that he looks so comfortable in his presidential role. Will Lee remain in office after Roslin returns, and if so, what kind of president will he be? Let's hope the power doesn't go to his head.
In the following clip, D'Anna and Adama (Edward James Olmos
) arrive back on the Galactica and present an ultimatum from the rebel Cylons: they want the four Cylons that are in the Colonial Fleet, otherwise they're going to hold all the crew members on the Basestar hostage. Will the toasters dare to step up and tag along? If not, will D'Anna (Lucy Lawless
) decide to out them in front of the entire crew and force them to leave?
The final Battlestar Galactica
of 2008, "Revelations," airs Friday at 10pm on the Sci Fi Channel.
