Battlestar Galactica

-Action SciFi A dramatic revamp of the campy sci-fi classic that ran in the early Eighties, Battlestar Galactica follows a ragtag fleet of humans trying desperately to find their way back home to Earth, while avoiding the Cylons, robot-human hybrids out to obliterate the last of mankind. High human-on-robot action and high human-on-human drama have made the show a hit with nostalgia buffs and new fans alike. One thing's for sure though, this ain't your dad's Battlestar Galactica.

Episode 4.1 "He That Believeth in Me" Recap
Episode 4.2 "Six of One" Recap
Episode 4.3 "The Ties That Bind" Recap

Episode 4.4 "Escape Velocity" (April 25)

In this episode directed by star Edward James Olmos, the crew mourns the death of Cally, though it would seem that the details of her death may have been staged to make it look like a suicide.  Also, Tigh will face off with Six, only his newly confused Cylon brain will be haunted by memories of his dead wife Ellen during the encounter.  Give our knowledge of how Tigh and Ellen's fights usually ended up, rumors that someone other than Baltar will get a chance to frak a Six may not be that far off.

Episode 4.5 "The Road Less Travelled" (May 2)

The crew of the Demetrius has only two days left before they are supposed to meet back up with the Galactica, but as you might imagine, Kara isn't so willing to give up the search for Earth.  Also, the Cylon Civil War gets even crazier when some of the Cylons try to find allies with the crew of the Demetrius.  Callum Keith Rennie will guest star, so there's a chance that Leoben and Kara may align themselves for common purposes (finding Earth and killing the Centurions).

Episode 4.6 "Faith" (May 9)

If Tigh doesn't frak a Six, Anders might, as one of the models is apparently on the Demetrius.  Kara will continue to struggle with finding the faith to trust her new Cylon allies.  Similarly, Laura Roslin will seek faith as she battles cancer alongside another cancer patient named Emily (played by Star Trek: Deep Space Nine's Nana Visitor).

Episode 4.7 "Guess Who's Coming to Dinner" (May 16)

Starbuck isn't the only one considering an alliance with the enemy, as it seems Roslin makes a deal with the Cylons as well to play a role in their Civil War and destroy a resurrection hub.  It's unclear which side they're on, though it would be quite interesting if the Galactica and the Demetrius find themselves on oposing sides of the Cylon Civil War.

Episode 4.8 "Sine Qua Non" (May 30)

As you might imagine in an episode with the title of a Latin legal phrase, Romo Lampkin makes his big return in this episode.  The phrase literally means "without which it could not be," and typically refers to an essential component or condition.  In this case, it most likely refers to the power vacuum caused when...hold onto your hats...the Cylon Hybrid abducts Laura Roslin.

Episode 4.9 "The Hub" (June 5)

The human Viper pilots and Cylon rebels join forces to plan an attack on the resurrectio9n hub.  As a fan of this show, I must now say that this season sounds absolutely insanely brilliant with all these unusual twists.  Also in the episode, Kate Vernon returns as Ellen Tigh, likely in fantasy sequences (it would seem Ellen is Tigh's version of Baltar's Head Six).  Also, finally, D'Anna gets unboxed, and Lucy Lawless returns to Battlestar Galactica.

Episode 4.10 "Revelations" (June 13)

In the final episode of the first half of season 4, Laura Roslin, held captive by the Cylons, will begin to understand here destiny, which appears to be connected to Hera's.  D'Anna will be interact with the president, which could mean good news for fans, as D'Anna is the only person who actually knows who the final Cylon is.  Since this is the final episode before the last run, expect some big "revelations," as the title suggest, possibly, but not necessarily including: revealing the final Cylon, finding Earth and Roslin's death.

Who are you most excited to see again?
Ellen Tigh
Romo Lampkin
D'Anna Biers
