Battlestar Galactica: Preview of Episode 4.9
Battlestar Galactica: Preview of Episode 4.9
Though it certainly moved the plot forward in some interesting and exciting directions, I found last week's episode of Battlestar Galactica to be a bit of a disappointment.  Too much time was spent on the reappearance of Romo Lampkin and the political power struggles, while the more mind-boggling news of an unborn baby with two Cylon parents was barely mentioned.  Despite my issues with "Sine Qua Non," this week's installment, "Hub," looks to be much more interesting.  Not only is "Hub" the penultimate episode before Battlestar Galactica's midseason hiatus, but it also features the long-awaited return of Lucy Lawless to the series.

To get fans ready for the new installment, we have some promo photos and a trailer for the episode.
Not all titles featured on BuddyTV are available through Amazon Prime.

As the title of the episode makes clear, "Hub" will mainly center around the crew of the Galactica planning an attack on the Cylon Resurrection Hub.  If they succeed, the Cylons will forever lose their ability to download into new bodies after death.  The episode will also see Colonel Tigh (Michael Hogan) stepping up to command the Galactica in Admiral Adama's (Edward James Olmos) absence.  Let's just hope he does a better job than last time he was in charge.

As this first picture shows, the episode is already guaranteed to be better than "Sine Qua Non" because it features the return of Laura Roslin (Mary McDonnell).  The president and Baltar will be attempting to unravel the mystery behind the opera house visions with the help of the Cylon Hybrid.

Another character who I'm always happy to see return is Brother Cavil.  I have a feeling he'll be trying to stop the humans from unboxing D'Anna.

Dean Stockwell

In this promo for the episode we see Roslin and Baltar (James Callis) interrogating the Hybrid, Athena (Grace Park) rallying the Viper pilots, and a heck of a lot of explosions.

Episode 4.9 of Battlestar Galactica airs Friday at 10pm on the Sci Fi Channel.
