Biography

Ty Burrell, who was born on August 22, 1967 in Grants Pass, Oregon, is a film and television actor who was recently cast as a shallow but well-meaning plastic surgeon, Out of Practice, a CBS sitcom. After the show was cancelled, he moved on to play Allan Arbus on Fur: An Imaginary Portrait of Diane Arbus and another role in the TV series Lipshitz Saves the World. Burrell appeared in films In Good Company, Black Hawk Down and in the television series Law & Order: Special Victims Unit as a probation officer. He also appeared on stage in productions such as Macbeth, Corners, The Blue Demon, and Burn This.

Gary Crezyzewski is played by Ty Burrell on the television series Back to You. Gary is an affable and endlessly inappropriate sports anchor in Pittsburgh's local television station who works with a crazy group of television crewmembers, each having their own quirks. Back to You follows Chuck Darling as he takes a step back into his roots, into the wacky crew of the local studio in which he once found his home.
