Patricia Heaton and Kelsey Grammer star in Back to YouBack to You is an upcoming sitcom on the Fox Network. It is created, written and executive-produced by Steven Levitan, the man behind such comedy series as Just Shoot Me! and Wings . Emmy-award winning screenwriter Christopher Lloyd is also credited as an executive producer.

The series revolves around the story of a fallen Pittsburgh news team, Chuck and Kelly. The duo dominated television news back in the 1990’s, but when Chuck came upon a bigger career opportunity, Kelly did not stand in his way, especially since the camaraderie they shared on-screen did not translate to real life. However, after a humiliating on-air argument wound up on the internet, Chuck’s trip to stardom took a turn for the worse. So, when he was invited back to Pittsburgh to reunite with now single mom Kelly, he immediately jumped at the chance, hoping to recapture their fame, as well as the station’s no.1 ranking.

He also shared the small screen with Heaton when he guest-starred in 13 episodes of Everybody Loves Raymond.

Josh Gad is set to play Ryan Church, the news team’s latest news director. Gad broke into television with a role on the series, Mary and Joe, and subsequently appeared in one episode of ER and the films Razortooth and Watching the Detectives. Currently, he is wrapping up work in the movie 21, and is on the set of two more films, The Rocker and Crossing Over.

39-year-old actor Ty Burrell will play field reporter Gary Crezyzewski. Burrell has appeared in a number of big screen productions, including In Good Company, The Darwin Awards, Friends with Money, Down in the Valley, Evolution, Dawn of the Dead and Black Hawk Down.

Laura Marano will portray Gracie, Kelly’s 10-year-old daughter.
