Katara is the 14-year old sole remaining Waterbender of the Southern Water Tribe in the animated series Avatar: The Last Airbender. She is the sister of Sokka. She depicts a character that is mature, responsible and often looks out for the wellbeing of others. In addition, she is very forgiving. Previously, she healed Zuko of his facial scar, despite their complicated history of conflict. Although she is naturally kind in nature, she has a temper which, when combined with her skills, can be very destructive.
