Avatar: The Last Airbender can now witness the final fate of the four nations as Nickelodeon presents a riveting two-hour
Avatar television movie, which airs tonight at 8pm ET/PT.
Following
Aang's futile attack against the vicious Firelord Ozai during the "Day of Black Sun," he will finally face his mortal enemy and seal his destiny in the final showdown between Aang and Firelord Ozai in the episode called "Sozin's Comet."
When Aang finds out that he must deal with the Firelord earlier than planned, he struggles with firebending and forces himself to prepare mentally and physically for the assault as the comet nears. The question is: Will he have the guts to take the Firelord's life?
Tonight's
Avatar TV movie marks the culmination of a week of new episodes that began to roll out on Monday, July 14. The action-packed week kicked off with the episode "The Western Air Temple," followed by "The Firebending Masters," the hour-long special "The Boiling Rock," "The Southern Raiders," and "The Ember Island Players."

Avatar: The Last Airbender is an animated series that is set in an Asian-influenced world of martial arts and elemental manipulation. The show centers on the adventures of Aang and his friends, who try to save the world from war with the Fire Nation.
"Since its premiere, Avatar's captivating storylines and compelling characters have kept fans on the edge of their seats," Brown Johnson, president of animation for Nickelodeon and MTVN Kids and Family Group, said in a statement. "The remainder of Book Three is full of surprises and plot twists, and we're excited to be bringing fans the event they've been waiting for--the final face-off between Aang and the Firelord."
